Dr. Sun

Dr. Sun received his Bachelor of Science in Genetics and his Ph.D. in Molecular Virology at universities in China and the U.S. Having more than 15 years of experience in the field of cancer and infectious disease research, he works at a leading pharmaceutical company with the mission to predict, prevent, detect, treat and cure various diseases.

Dr. Sun once filed a NIW case through another firm about 8 years ago but was denied. He retained our firm to redo the case. After evaluating his skills and experience, our attorneys were very confident of winning the NIW case for him, given that he has many publications and citations, membership certificates from prestigious associations in the field, reprint requests for his articles, etc. To strengthen his case, Dr. Sun ultimately obtained 10 recommendation letters, although we did not think it was necessary for a strong case like this. In the petition, our attorney emphasized how his work benefits the US health care system by highlighting his major focus in cancer research and how he contributes to the national interest at a higher level.

Based on our rich experience in handling such cases, Dr. Sun¡¯s NIW petition was approved without an RFE in November 2008.

Dr. Zhou

Dr. Zhou holds a PH.D in Management Information Systems and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from universities in China and the U.S. Dr. Zhou is an assistant professor and has used her experience in the field of information system management and integration to make notable contributions to terrorism informatics research.

Dr. Zhou retained us to handle both her NIW and EB1 cases. In the petition, our attorney emphasized her role in modern science and technology to enhance the nation¡¯s counter-terrorism capabilities. Based on the supporting documents such as her national project summary, publications, citation record, presentation materials, and six recommendation letters, we argued that Dr. Zhou has directly contributed to creating a new intelligence system to fight terrorism and has greatly benefited the U.S. national security interest.

Due to our strong arguments supported by many materials provided by the client, both of Dr. Zhou¡¯s cases were approved by the USCIS without an RFE in December 2008.
